Ourobos

A gem of mine, from Plato's words;

Okay, what's the betting that Caliborn's original juju was a snake eating it's own tail?

Rest of this under a cut because it kind of got a bit away from me.

"uROBuROS" seems all kinds of similar to "Ouroboros" to me, possibly (according to the Wikipedia at any rate) because it's another name for it just written in Caliborn's old quirk. I'm going to pretend that no one's said this already, although they probably already have. (<insert obligatory "already here" joke here>)

Or it could be a ring, since that's suitably cyclical (although it's perfectly possible that this is foreshadowing some sort of correctness to the theory that the ring is Calliope's juju).

And of course it's related to Gnosticism somehow and the significance of a symbol of self-perpetuating cycles to Homestuck is pretty obvious. Especially since this is pretty much Caliborn's plan - and it seems to be working a lot better for him than it does Vriska's attempts with Bec Noir since he becomes Lord English n'all, which is probably a better result than dying, it has to be said (Actually, it's sort of the opposite; Vriska made Bec Noir so that she could be the one to beat him, whereas Caliborn's ostensibly trying to train up Jake so that the latter can beat the former.).

Also from the wiki I found this Carl Jung quote to be very apt:

 In the age-old image of the Ouroboros lies the thought of devouring oneself and turning oneself into a circulatory process, for it was clear to the more astute alchemists that the prima materia of the art was man himself. The Ouroboros is a dramatic symbol for the integration and assimilation of the opposite, i.e. of the shadow. [italics original, bolding mine]

Which slightly contradicts my points above, but also gives the 'Jake will end up being posessed by LE' a lot more credit. Actually, I think that sentence probably sums up Caliborn's aims with the whole thing.
