So I celebrated my Halloween on Saturday night at a charity 80's themed Halloween Quiz Night hosted by my care home, Lewis Martin Court. I went as The Joker! And I had an absolutely amazing time 😁 one of my good friends from guitar lessons, Jess, came along with her husband, Sion 😁 and we were on a Quiz team (called The Hairy Monsters, due to all the colourful and crazy hair around the table!) with LMC's lead nurse, who is also a good friend of mine, called Mari, her husband, and her sister (who I made friends with at Lmc's last charity event) Delith. And guess what?! WE WON THE QUIZ!!! YAAAASSS!! It was actually hilarious how competitive everyone at our table was 😂 although we accidentally helped the others teams a few times when one of us (usually me tbh) would get excited and shout out the answer 😂 in the end we were shouting out wrong answers on purpose, as a tactic to confuse our enemies 😂! I'm so grateful I got to spend my Saturday night with such an awesome, hilarious, interesting, fun, and very knowledgable regarding all things Halloween, bunch of people 😁 especially since my muma was too poorly to make it. When I told Mari mam and dad couldn't come she replied "tell your mum you're my child now! I'm adopting you for Saturday night... you're on my team!" And on the night itself she introduced me to her husband by saying "this is Amy, she's our child tonight"... luckily he took the news well 😂! Big thanks to The Hairy Monsters for making Saturday night so awesome 👏🏻 and big round of applause to the fundraising committee at LMC, especially Louise (aka Marie Antionette!) and Josh (aka the guy from scream!) 👏🏻 you did an ace job! Everything about the night was great; the decorations, food, quiz, and especially the people! #happyhalloween #sarurdaynightfun #spookyfun #quiztime #ourteamwon #imthejoker #whysoserious #smile #thepeoplemaketheplace #blessed🙏 #sothankful #goodfriendsmeangoodtimes #fancydressisfun #thisiswhathappylookslike #makeupismagic
