PHONE CALL || RHYME

ROBIN: Relief wasn't even the word to describe the emotion that flooded through her as she saw her cell phone bars slowly start to come back into focus. Robin took a deep breath and immediately went to her contacts. Her finger hovered over her sister for a moment, because even if she was ready to forgive her, well, there was one person who's voice she needed to hear. Her heart was beating in her throat as she tapped Thyme's name, begging whatever higher power that existed that she would actually pick up. "Thyme?" Robin asked, her voice cracking. "Is that really you?"

ROBIN PEREZ

Robin was becoming very keen on the fact that spending time with Thyme was her preferred method of existing. It sure beat spending time with people who weren’t Thyme, as conceited as that sounded, but Robin was very much in love for what could have been considered to be the very first time and she was intoxicated with the idea that someone wanted her, no strings attached. Of course, there were plenty of strings attached but for now, she could pretend everything was fine. At least, it was hard to think anything could be less than fine as she heard a knock at the door.

“Company?” Robin asked sleepily, as she pulled back the covers from the bed and opened one eye. “I got it.” Realizing that she was sprawled on top of Thyme like a starfish obviously meant that she was going to be the one to move. As Robin padded across to the door in nothing but a kimono (a gift from Thyme for the weekend, and ridiculous comfy at that), she grinned at the sight of room service.

“Dinner? Thanks! What do I owe--” but the bellhop had disappeared, and Robin should have known better than to think she’d get a chance at paying for anything on this venture. “Babe?” She called, rolling the cart into their room, where she grabbed a plate of expensive-looking appetizers and brought it back into the bed, plucking a mini quiche off of it and holding it out for Thyme to take a bite out of. “Did you order dinner? Because I don’t think I’ve seen all of my favorites on one plate since Thanksgiving 1997.”

LOVE THEM AWAY || RHYME

ROBIN: After figuring out her living situation with Cece, Robin approached Thyme's front porch with a heavy heart and a handful of sunflowers. This whole situation had become far more complicated than she'd ever wanted it to be, and Robin felt as if her life was slowly sinking away from her. Raven's return and her eviction happening at the same time put a level of stress on her beyond anything she'd previously encountered, but she was going to work her way through it. While she knocked on the door, Robin also shot Thyme a text letting her know she was there.
