This will most likely be my last tour and it could not have ended with a better one. Grateful to have been a part of this group! Thank you to my crew family, who looked out for me and the "bump" and with whom I would gladly share a bus again. Thank you to the cast- each of you were an honor to work with and witness your talent on a daily basis. And a special thank you to Maks and Val, who made sure I was part of this journey from the very beginning, who take care of me like brothers, and who I am proud to call my friends. Truly so proud of you guys @maksimc and @iamvalc You made me really proud tonight you showed everyone the parts of yourselves that so few of us get to know and love. I am so happy I was there to witness you sharing your story with everyone and I am so happy I was there to see it. I am so grateful to have been a part of your journey and so happy you were a part of mine. I know that you both have so much more to give and share and I can't wait to see what you do next. Phoenix, AZ Ok San Antonio was hot. This is scorching. 110 degrees outside but I couldn’t wait to get to out hotel. So much so that myself and a couple other crew members ditched the rest of the crew who were waiting for our scheduled shuttle, and grabbed a cab to the hotel. I checked in, literally threw my clothes off, changed into my bathing suit and dragged my swollen ankles and baby bump to the pool. I was feeling like I was in Nirvana floating around in the pool and then realized that there was a POOLSIDE MENU AND SERVICE PHONE. So I ordered a (virgin) Pina Colada and some food and was downright giddy. Went back up to my awesome room and realized… Wait for it… There was a fluffy robe in the closet. I practically cried. I’m pretty sure I audibly gasped. When you’re touring and living on a bus, showering in dingy dressing rooms in venues, and occasionally staying in a decent (but robe-less) hotel room, staying in a place like the Westin in Phoenix makes you feel like you’ve died and gone to heaven. You can call me a snob. I don’t care. I’m still in my robe as I write this. Tonight had a fun time with the crew at our last day off together and a big dinner out, paid for by the Maks and Val tour- thanks guys! Got big news from home- my sister and her family found the most adorable kitten and are keeping it. Which means I have one more adorable and fluffy little reason to get home.

Grand Prairie, TX

Yee-haw, we finally crossed into the western half of the country. Grand Prairie is just that- one great big ol' prairie and nothing around it for miles. We are at the Verizon Theater tonight- very cool venue and nice locals. And Wolfgang puck catering. Wha?? It was pretty good- but oddly served Indian curry for dinner. Not really the kind of cuisine anyone wants to eat before dancing around for two hours. Just sayin' Got picked up by my beautiful Aunt this am who drove almost an hour to see me and spend some time. It was good to be with family and they got the meet "the bump" :). Tonight's show audience was around 2500 people who were some of the loudest we've seen since Chicago. Even the noise is bigger in Texas.

it's wouldn't be right if I didn't give a s/o to #ourwaytour on #nationaldanceday @iamvalc @maksimc have truly put in the show of the summer and I could not be more proud of them!!! I've been to a lot of concerts but nothing like our way... This was so special and personal to them which I loved. The dancing was spectacular and captivating and I didn't want it to end. I have post concert depression a lot but not as much as I did after leaving this show... So proud of my faves not bad for two immigrants from Brooklyn NY.. A great night at the State Theater enjoying wildly creative choreography and the joy that radiates from Maks and Val Chmerkovskiy. Peta Murgatroyd (radiantly pregnant) and Chris Soules were sitting directly behind us. Loved every minute of this show!
