I received an advanced reader copy of Our Wives Under the Sea from Flatiron Books via NetGalley, in return for my honest opinion. Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield is a story about the love, marriage and surviving life’s ups and downs. Leah has recently returned from a failed deep-sea mission. Miri, Leah’s wife, is happy to finally have Leah back home but has noticed that Leah is different. Miri can’t get Leah to open up about what happened while she was stranded on the ocean floor, but Miri thinks Leah may have unknowingly brought something back with her. This was an easy to read, unique story that’s perfect for sci-fi fans. Our Wives Under the Sea is available today, July 12, 2022.
