both the twins are terrified of drowning. before lu became an absolute sequoia he was kind of scrawny and, of course, bullied for just being the very peculiar intense child that he was. so of course, he damn near drowned in a toilet from said bullying, and took to swimming to make sure that he would always have that control

but he’ll never swim in an ocean at high tide. he’ll go up to his waist or so, but actually swimming? pool only]
