Card to the wife of a friend, whom I admittedly don’t know terribly well on a personal basis. (Nearly?) everyone likes flowers and Super Mario, and tigers are amazing so they always fit.
I am at least 50% convinced this is how symbols were derived in old paintings.
(European Old Master) “Everyone likes flowers and Super Mario Bros and tigers.”
(Apprentice) “…yeah, with you on the flowers, tigers sure, what is… sorry, what brothers…?”
