outcast!geto who knows you never should of gotten with bully!gojo in the first place.
he knows exactly how gojo's mind works, exactly what he thinks of you. he dealt with it all as well, not too long ago, leading him to watch how your relationship plays out. he was not surprised when gojo fucked up for the millionth time.
he leaves you be for a couple of days. despite your evident heartbreak, you continue to go to school, keeping strictly to yourself. geto rolls his eyes at the way gojo's friends point and snicker at you, far too immature to consider themselves 'men'. if it were up to geto, these 'men' would no longer be here, but nevertheless.
he finally introduces himself to you on a rainy thursday, approaching where you sit at your desk, packing up your things after the bell rings.
"hey, y/n." he says. his voice is unbelievably soft and gentle, tender in a way you've never heard before.
"oh, hi. geto, right?"
"yes. i, i wanted to apologise to you. i heard what gojo did. i should of warned you about him."
"u-um, yeah, i, i..." you tense up. everytime you are reminded of that night, a sharp pain stabs your heart and your stomach sinks.
"i didn't want to talk about it. i was hoping you would let me take you to dinner sometime?" geto says, his voice ever-calm. he watches with his intense eyes as you stand, pulling your bag over your back.
"l-look, i, i don't think i can do that right now. i-i'm sorry." your voice hitches, tears building in your eyes.
"of course, don't worry about it." geto reaches a hand out to your shoulder, rubbing it warmly. 'i'm sorry, i didn't mean to make you cry."
"i-it's okay. maybe some other time?"
"yes, that would be nice. i'll text you."
"thank you." you attempt one last smile before you step past him, eager to get home.
it's not until you get home that you question how he actually has your number. oh well?
