An empty universe, filled with only stars and planets incapable of supporting life, laid in wait. There was one star, whose planets only numbered up to 7, and had a few dwarf planets. It appeared as if there was once a planet between the red and the tan/yellow planets, but it was no longer there. Nearby sat a “Lost Soul”, as one might call him, even though he was not. His name was Sans, but when being addressed by those who did not come from his AU, he preferred simply just “Flowers”. He wore a blue, black and white colored outfit, and his eyes were light orange and baby blue. He had a distant look in his eyes, almost as if he’d lost something. In some way, he had- his happiness disappeared the day the missing planet was destroyed. It was the planet he was born on, after all.
One day, though, a disruption in his universe became apparent- an ERROR had appeared. He discovered this when he went exploring one day, to see where the other survivors were. One of them was his brother, Papyrus. What he didn’t realize was that the two of them were the last ones left. The Error- another Sans, from a different universe- had killed their remaining friends. Sans found his brother only a moment too late, and witnessed his death. He watched in horror as Error fought his brother, and eventually won. He ran as soon as his brother died, hoping to escape... But he was caught. Error had him caught in those infamous strings he used so often. He struggled, trying to free himself, but alas, there was no avail. As his SOUL began to shatter, Sans called out for help.
“H-Help... Undyne..! Toriel-!”
“HaHaHa! WhAt KiNd Of iDiOt EvEn ArE yOu? ThEy’Re DeAd! JuSt LiKe ThIs PiTiFuL eXcUsE fOr An Au WiLl Be In A mAtTeR oF mOmEnTs!” Error laughed. Sans was too weak to respond.
[*An empty capsule responded to his call.]
A tiny, orb-shaped capsule began to absorb magic from the area around it, taking on a blue, white and black camouflage design, and “flew” to Sans. The strings shattered, and Sans was able to escape, but his soul would not heal. He knew he’d die as soon as his universe did, because the capsule would turn to dust, and currently, it was the last one left, and the only one that could sustain his life force. If he had more, he would go from universe to universe, and protect the universes in their respective capsules until they, in turn, were erased.
Suddenly, as he reached another universe, the capsule began to glow brightly. Next thing he knew, he was surrounded by empty capsules. One of the empty ones began to undergo the same process as the original empty one had, becoming the capsule for the universe he had just entered. The capsule, once a slightly cloudy, but clear orb, turned a pastel blue color. The capsule representing his universe turned to dust, but he didn’t die, for he now had another capsule to help sustain his new, exciting life. He then found a way to put the new, empty capsules away, and hung the pastel blue one on his belt. When he saw the universe he was in, he smiled. This was his new favorite, and he would do his best to preserve the universe, alongside of the hundreds upon thousands of other universes out there. He may have lost his home, his family, and nearly his life, but yet, he had found happiness under all the pain. He would forever do everything he could to remain happy, even to the day he died.
And thus, a new life began for Flowers.
