Azathoth's Eye Nebula
The Outer Gods: only eternal and all powerful by our framework?
I don’t really get the idea of tying outer gods to laws of physics concepts
They are so outer that their realm is associated with alien laws, and basic geometry breaks down.
And there are huge masses of their larva in one of the Dreamland stories...so even if exiting on a timescale foreign to us they do seem to possibly age and die rather than being eternal on a cosmic scale.
That’s kind of the horror to me: Azathoth might not even be much a bigshot from where they come from but our univere was created or altered as a byproduct of musicians entertaining them.
And Yog-Sothtoh for all its power and wisdom may just be the T-rex of the multi-reality ecosystem it inhabits if we look at the traits of the Whateley twins they inherit
@digital_succubus The Crawling Chaos, The Faceless God, my favorite god tbh, The Nyarlthotep.

Album Review: Outergods - A Kingdom Built Upon the Wreckage of Heaven (Prosthetic Records)
As far as talent goes, Outergods has it in spades and all that talent combined, results in a debut that has the potential to set the extreme world alight.
Having inked a deal with Prosthetic Records, Nottingham, UK-based Outergods are preparing to release their debut album, A Kingdom Built Upon the Wreckage of Heaven, on September 1st, 2023.
