OuterHorror: Starfall (Endogeny)
The amalgamates are the only monsters in the universe lacking a halo, and by extension, a Level Of Starvation. They do not feel pain or hunger, making the true lab one of the safest places for Alphys to stay.
My original design for OuterHorror: Starfall Sans and Papyrus (Currently nicknamed Corona and Mass)... currently reevaluating the designs if I’m being honest >.>; Also the Halo’s are important and have a function, trust me ;3
Starfall Grillby Progress
Here we have Grillby. The poor guy has been reduced to a smoking coal!
OuterHorror Grillby is known for rolling his own cigarettes... Stars only know what he makes them out of... They can't get rid of the hunger, but they do curb it slightly and make it hurt less for a while... If you're particularly polite he might even share one with you. (My initial idea for Grillby from pen doodle to painting!)
OuterHorror: Starfall (Asgore the Dragon)
1. All monsters in this particular universe bear a Halo, which acts as a visual and physical manifestation of their Level Of Starvation or L.O.S. 2. The Hungrier the monster becomes, the larger, more prominent, and more complex the Halo looks. If the monster has eaten recently, the Halo will be quite faint. 3. Boss monsters and other, stronger beings can support more complicated Halo forms as they are able to shoulder a higher Starvation Threshold.
Asgore is trapped in a cycle involving moments of mindless feral hunger (increased by lack of food in his self imposed isolation) followed by periods of intense sorrow for his actions.
OuterHorror: Starfall (Toriel)
Toriel is loving and kind to any child coming under her care, but also hopelessly mad. Long years of isolation and L.O.S have skewed her perception of things... so don’t ask what filling she puts in her ‘pies’.

OuterHorror: Starfall (Undyne and Alphys)
Undyne’s a bit of a dick in this universe, also Alphys made her her robotic limbs! The legs have spring-power allowing Undyne to leap between asteroids and other celestial bodies. Alphys on the other hand was injured in a lab accident and is now totally blind.. her collar and tail have built in sensory mechanics that help her perceive the world around her!
