Unfortunately, what he happened upon after reaching the unlocked door was not his sweet little roomie but...
A destroyed kitchen. Various food objects littering the floor with crumbs and spills alike; in the midst of that was a crouched over figure, helping themselves to his refrigerator like it was an all-you-can-eat buffet. Really, he should be applauding this persons gall for striding into his home and destroying it as they saw fit, but there was still that twinge of faint irritation.
