STYLEWATCH: DRAKE + ESPYS #NWTS
Well last night's broadcast of the 2014 ESPYs hosted by October's Very Own was well different. Outside of his personal sports fandom and obvious adoration of Skylar Diggins, Aubrey actually had a few memorable style moments worthy of a Wintour nod.
The White NFL Jersey emblazoned with OVO watermarked wax 24 is of course what looks to be a collaboration with the rapper's brand and the sports association. This new OVO 2014 tour stock should hit the website prior to football season gearing up. Diggins Notre Dame 4 Jersey is not so easy to cop from the school's online shop, you may have to search ebay or have it custom to order so you can be dressed appropriately for his next Swooning for Skylar fan club meeting. The next ensemble would have made Urkel proud, because he paired a bright yellow cotton canvas vest (check Member's Only to duplicate)with a 90's signature paint splatter buttoned down, accented with lenseless red wayfarer frames and kelly green trousers. Totally skit appropriate and poised for a rerun in rap history. And yes the musings of Brian McKnight can get us all up in our feelings, but not to the point of crochet Couture. Yet Drake didn't mind a few minutes to get Boho eclectic in beige linen pants, leather moccasins, and an open weave tank underneath to protect his moobies. To conclude the show, he switched out his opening credits cool black suit with a white and black tuxedo combination, ushering even more stand out style while handing over an award to the Super Bowl Champs Seattle Seahawks.
Last night's hosting gig was a good look for Mr. Graham, because it definitely sets his music career on another high others will attempt to reach, while showing off his versatility to be the better Canadian kid we hate to love!
