I pictured Dan Stevens as Lord John, not sure how tall he is but facially I think he would have been perfect. David Berry seems too much of a manly man if that makes sense? But people didn't like Sam and Cait when they were cast and now everyone loves them so. I will remain optimistic. And 2x13 is incredible you must watch!! I sobbed throughout the entire episode.

yeah i agree on the manly man thing. dan stevens is pretty good actually, now that you mention it. his features are somewhat softer, as i imagined lord john’s would be. he’s not short either, at 6 ft, but facially he’s much better than our mr berry 

anyways now i just have to pray that the costume/makeup teams work their magic
