It’s so easy for me to get carried away with all the fandom drama that I sometimes forget how much I absolutely love Diana’s books, this show, these characters.

I cannot wait for Bee’s to come out and then Season 5 early next year. 😍👏🏼🐝🔥

Diana’s books are always such a joy to read. I’ve loved every single one. Even her other novels, novellas and short stories. I just get so consumed by them. I know it’s going to be thee best three days ever! (Give or take). 😂👏🏼📚

I think I’m going to avoid the Tumblr critics as much as possible next season. I tried to be here this year, watching along with everyone, and honestly it completely harshed my buzz. I just loved Season 4 so much. ❤️ I love that the show is doing their own thing, expanding character arcs and changing storylines. So I’ll be there for that, but probably not here as much. 🙈😂🤷🏼‍♀️

“we love Outlander”

I never win anything. Well, there was one time when I was 20 and my name was announced as the winner of $25 💸 at a raffle at my parish summer festival. I did not believe it was true, but when everyone kept telling me I was the winner, I finally went to the raffle booth and sure enough, I won $25 - a lot of money 💰to a college student working two part-time jobs. But that was a long time ago, and I have accustomed myself to never winning anything and being genuinely happy 🤓for others when they win. So imagine my surprise 😳when I received word from our friend and artist @outlanderedandoverhere notifying me that I won a calendar 🗓 and postcards. Happy, happy 😁! 

I received the much anticipated package 📦 a few days ago and mulled over what to do with the calendar, as I already have two of Fiona’s calendars and wasn’t quite sure where to hang my recently won prize. I decided not to be a calendar piggy 🐷 and thought 🤔about giving the calendar to someone else who loves Outlander. A lovely friend, a nurse 👩🏽‍⚕️who formerly worked in my department, has read the books and watched every episode five times, in her own estimation, so I called and made arrangements to stop by her office with an Outlander gift. 

I visited the office 🏢 yesterday - lo and behold, the area below the counter at the front desk, as well as the staff break room, are decorated with Outlander photos, some cut from magazine articles, others printed from on-line sources. Unbeknownst to me, my friend told her co-workers that I am “an Outlander expert.” While I admit to being a bit emberassed 😳 by this title, I nonetheless enjoyed my five minutes of fame. Asked ⁉️about the upcoming season, I responded as best I could to questions like: “when and where Murtagh might show up, how might the 350(?) page day be interpreted for the show, would we hear Roger sing and play guitar, and are they ever going to film in the US?” 

All good things come to an end as duty called me back to the hospital, so I had to take my leave of this Outlander themed office. As I said my goodbyes, my friend commented “we love Outlander.” Her staff chimed in and my Outlander heart ❤️swelled with pride, because I love Outlander too. I know not everyone loves it, for various reasons, and I certainly appreciate and respect different viewpoints. But for a few wee moments yesterday, time stood still, as a group of women reveled in sharing their love of a story that has found its way into our lives. Thank you, @outlanderedandoverhere , for being the catalyst for this lovely encounter.
