Honestly, I really love the parts of Outlander that deals with, for instance, the Cherokee, but it's such a historically impossible situation for these poor guys who, as one small group of people who think of humans as humans, can't do much ... and it makes me wonder what I would've done, and frankly, I don't know if I could've done much at all. And that's so sad!
This lady is literally acting how I would act if I came back from the dead and someone was giving me a lame funeral.
The thing is, I can't really hate Fergus - I don't think - so this story makes me think through the more human aspect.
Which I appreciate.
I'm being made to think way too much now, though ... which is both a blessing and a curse.
