Track down the location of that app thing and the file name, figure out what app it is. Then remove it. Alternatively, check your Hosts file and see if there's anything changed up.

I've been doing some googling, and one website recommended removing java, but that's done nothing, so I just don't know really where to look

So every few minutes on any internet browser on my computer it closes and norton informs me it's blocked an attack from some fake app thing. I just want to go on the internet for longer than three minutes at a time please computer what is wrong
