(I'm gonna attempt to work on threads today since it seems I don't have anything else to do. I don't think my boyfriend and I are gonna do anything today. I'm all crampy and it's kind of overcast and I kind of just want to sit and watch The Legend of Korra all day while working on my stuff here.)

(So, my parents and some extended family planned a trip to the mountains right over my birthday weekend. I knew it might end up that way, but they knew how much I really didn't want that, and they kindly "forgot" to tell me until I got home from college, by which point they'd had finalized plans for some weeks. I just decided I'm not going. Fuck that. They haven't once mentioned that my birthday was coming up when talking about upcoming events. I'm not taking neglect anymore. I'm staying home with my amazing boyfriend, who is probably taking me out on Friday night for a nice dinner.)
