So, I will be restructuring this blog entirely. Start fresh and with a solid roster of muses and OC ideas I want to try out and play out.

All in all I want it to be more of a mature themed, plot driven blog rather than just the random interactions.

[ mint ]  when did you start your blog? what made you start it? This one was made in Nov. of 2012, so it's definitely been a minute. I had been playing Tony already for a good while through email and in ims, but I had no idea that character blogs were a thing until I tripped over one here back when I only had my art blog up and running. The MCU was an entirely different space back then, simpler for sure, but also more...I don't know, optimistic? Somehow brighter? And definitely more active, though there's still a fair amount of traffic in these circles nowadays. A lot of the RPC has grown up here to some degree, and it's cool having such a common bond with my partners.

[ olive ]  what gives you the most inspiration for your muse(s)? Honestly it's just chatting with my partners, discussing various fandom stuff, obsessing over upcoming content and brainstorming over how our babes can plausibly fit in those concepts. Re-watching movies always helps me tighten up my character's voice, but creativity and innovation are born through collaboration and friendship (rainbow.jpg).

[ mauve ]  give one random headcanon about your muse / one of your muses. You mean beyond the Avalon Protocol? /evilgrin But technically that's canon other than the name, so. Let me see.

Generally I treat headcanons like legos. I may elaborate on the structures, but the available pieces were already there, you feel me? I try not to infuse anything into him that wouldn't likely be there, inspired by observation of canon events.

So the items that involve off-screen development of those events are the ones I've put the most opinion or conjecture into. For example, we see him having panic attacks in various situations, we know broadly why. Depending on the partner/thread I might have developed that further. What else could have happened to him in Afghanistan? With the Mandarin's goons or in the void? How about when he was slowly dying, drifting in space? Or even when he actually did die?

As a general answer to that question — for my interpretation of Tony — I will say that he doesn't tolerate being bound very well, to put it mildly. And that he'd pretty much never be down for doing so recreationally. It would take a monumental act of trust and honestly he would be so triggered by it that I don't think he could appreciate anything else happening in the vicinity, regardless of the good time factor. Along the same lines, he never felt the same about water after Afghanistan, and even taking a shower took an uncomfortable exercise of will for a good long time.
