Ru Hui used to have a habit of just flopping face down into a bed and sleeping right then and there without bothering to get changed, much less take off his shoes. He stopped doing that after he moved to Minato, Tokyo.

Ru Hui tends to snicker when he’s sad because he’ll get so confused by this newfound emotion that he tries to laugh it off to counter what he’s currently feeling.

What are you talking about? He’s always having a good time, especially now. Anyway, he gets really pleased when people play along with his antics and humor him with puns and pranks.

His anger turns on like a switch, and he doesn’t even realize it. He gets explosive one minute, and he quickly deflates the next because it takes a lot out of him.

Please. He is trash, and I cannot even. So, Ru Hui isn’t a virgin. He has tried things out just to see what it’s like, but he finds sex to be more “meh” than anything else. He still hasn’t had his first kiss though. Where are his priorities? I don’t know.

From his room back in Indiana to his dorm at Keio University and even the Not-Have room, they share a common pattern. Everything is rather tidy. Ru Hui may be a hoarder, but he keeps everything extremely organized and pristine.

I’ve mentioned it a lot, but here I go again. Ru Hui has a very unhealthy view on what love is. At least, for himself anyway. He’s not too sure what love is, so he mistakes it for any intense emotion, such as anger and hatred.

Ru Hui has a father, mother, and two siblings. He also has a bunch of extended family back in Shanghai, and he absolutely loathes visiting them if only because he has to remember every single honorific and title for each person.
☮ - friendship headcanon
Making food is too much effort on his part; however, if he ever does, it’s usually meant for someone else no matter what he might claim. He gets lazy, but he’ll shove that aside if it means he can sit down with company. He only shares food with people he’s comfortable with.

When he’s thinking or mulling over something, he hums to himself. It doesn’t even have a tune or anything, just a soft and almost unnoticeable “mmmmm”.

Ru Hui dislikes animals a lot because ironically enough, they love him. He tends to get swarmed by them, and he just stares into space going, “why”.

He doesn’t care what he looks like, nor does he care for other people’s opinions on himself. He sticks to what’s comfortable for him, and that’s it.

Ru Hui’s actually ticklish, but he will never let out a peep. He’s stubbornly quiet and vibrates with intensity if he’s being mercilessly tickled.
