Hello my friends

I am going to try and bring this back into an rp blog with posts mostly relevant to My OC Maeve. I have repurposed one of my side blogs to be my personal blog now where I rb a whole bunch of things.

Also, I primarily use the app and when I get sleepy I seem to fat finger the follow button on posts. This means I wake up to names I don’t recognize and unfollow them if they aren’t ones I remember and recognize content on.

What I’m saying is if you think I accidentally unfollow you, please message me and let me know so I can fix it.

I have been struggling getting back into rp anywhere because of real life issues so I’m not promising anything but I want to try and come back a bit. Hopefully more on weekends and such

Okay no.. like... They’re even worse on Twitter right now... Out of Coyote (sort of?)

I figured I’d take a moment and talk about one set of OC muses of mine. These are based in a verse created by a group of friends and I involving Pathfinder. If you don’t know what Pathfinder is, it’s similar to DND. Essentially, a fantasy realm.

To start, I think I will go with the most obviously familiar character.

Maeve Cain. She’s a half elf/ half no one actually knows at this point. THANKS DAD. Her mother’s name is Lorathana and her father is Abel Cain. She is a shapeshifter(of sorts) and is classified as a rogue/bard. She’s working to become like her father and become a shadow dancer. For the most part, Maeve performs as a dancer to make money, however her skills with the shadows are quite useful for stealth and those jobs that are in need of such traits. She has a penchant for stealing hats.

Now we get into the /fun/ shit.

Abel Cornelius (mother fucking) Cain. This suave bastard here is a fucking abomination. His story goes back to his parents and the fact that he is an illegitimate child. As far as we can tell, he was an aasimar. His parents were both elves, however each had a recessive trait from their blood lines. Now the two recessive genes were by no means benign to each other and began to reek havoc upon his body. This is when he ended up going to Necrosis (the city of all bad things that is ruled by a Lich) for assistance. A big no no for the son of a high end city leader of Coruscat (the city of glitter, mages, and craft herpes hell)

Abel returned after being “fixed” and well his new shadow friend attached to him (thanks genes and experiments) went on a rampage and nearly destroyed the city of Coruscat. His “father” Jonah banished him from the city and decreed that all creatures that were coyotes or dealt with the shadows would be arrested and potentially sentenced to death.

Jonah Callin. Let’s talk about this mother fucking piece of scum. He’s your typical human. Power hungry and egotistical narcissistic cock sucker of a father, husband and just in general a prick. He doesn’t give a rats ass about how his wife lives or about his daughter’s feelings. All he cares about is his title and his power. That’s why he married his wife to begin with. She brought with her the trade agreements with Nuvan (the major elf city). Now.. Thanks to FREEBIRD. The only dealings we have with this vermin is in the past. (Freebird is actually a city that was once called Freyburn until two gods in a random encounter -thanks DM- completely obliterated it and opened up a crater into the under dark.)

Jonah was married to Ka’Aera Callin.

Ka’Aera (another last name that I can’t remember but is actually very important to her character creation) is the mother of Abel and Mab. She is an elf from Nuvan and was forced into a political marriage. She is in love with another elf who was from a rival clan. Her family was known as dragon singers. When she was younger she fell in love with an elf that was of a family of dragon killers. The two of them were not as inclined to follow their family’s paths. They found a cloud dragon egg and together hatched it, raising the hatchling as their own.

Tova. Tova is a very special little cloud dragon.. Though she’s not all that little anymore. In fact, she’s an adult dragon. Being raised by elves made her a bit awkward due to the lack of actual dragon parenting. She did have another couple of dragons that were able to help the elves raise her, but she imprinted on her elven parents. Tova like all dragons has a hoard. Only, hers tends to be people. She lets them continue living life as usual but heaven help you if you harm them. She has a room filled with small bobbles as her treasures (they’re trapped, don’t touch them or she may eat you).

Jonah has never seen Tova and she did very well to remain hidden from him and other humans. She was able to project the image of a small child to hide herself.

Mab Callin. She is the aasimar sister of Abel. She’s the gem of Coruscat beloved by all. She’s a healer and does whatever she can to help her city. She doesn’t believe that her brother is dead, but she doesn’t know how to save him from the darkness that has supposedly consumed him. She is Jonah’s biological daughter.

Lyolan Maernathem- He is an elf that is the swashbuckler captain of the Shadows of the rose.  He is the father of Abel Cain although he did not learn of that until he met his grand daughter Maeve. When Tova is allowed out of Coruscat she is often found aboard his ship. He is her father figure. He is a very charismatic individual although there are many times where he seems almost cruel. He is heart broken because he knows that he cannot be with Ka’Aera after she chose the human.

Laftil Maernathem. Arcane trickster. He’s Lyolan’s baby brother who has decided to adventure around the world instead of following what his family decided his path should be. He’s very curious about others and tends to get himself in trouble by befriending people Lyolan actively hates. Like the pirate Nimyr.

Luna Callin- A lunar dragon that was hatched by a black dragon that is a friend of Tova. She is placed in the care of Maeve. The two are great companions that love adventuring together.
