Berserk Starter Call

//Because I made a Berserk verse on here now that I’m all caught up with the manga. For the sake of convenience ‘n’ all that, the verse description/info will be below the cut!

Believed to have been from another land, she was born with a twin to a mother who had survived an Apostle's attack and fled to a different town. Despite their father's deeds they were loved by their mother, up until their home was raided and the children were taken into slavery. Though their monstrous forms and capabilities shielded them in some ways, it made them targets in others.

After years spent in the hands of countless owners, the demonic twins were purchased by Kushan. At that time, the two were given new names: Alma for one, and Jiao for her. The Kushan magic-users, curious as to their origins and abilities, put the twins and others believed to be like them through various gruesome experiments; inevitably, the majority of the Kushan's test subjects were killed. Some like Alma and Jiao, however, survived thanks to incredible healing rates.

Having watched many friends die and enduring relentless agony every day, within months Alma snapped. Surroundings and people alike were destroyed without mercy, up until Alma was finally killed by another test subject. Jiao survived Alma's butchering of her, and fled as soon as she was physically capable.

Only eleven and alone for the first time in her life, she survived primarily through thievery and deception. Sometimes she worked odd jobs or ran errands for others, but once she could she began picking up mercenary work.

In order to minimize the chance of being recognized she often presents herself as a male under the name Jun and typically hides her face with clothing regardless of her current appearance. Nonetheless she has still earned the name of "the Savage Raven" for herself, if only because of her shining dark hair and nightmarish use of her claws.

aaahhh if you ever want to rp in that verse i'm up for that since i'm throwing kanda in the closet and staying on levi. but i would still like to write with you because jiao is #great.

Verse: Final Fantasy XV

As Niflheim grew in power in size, so did the risks the empire was willing to take in the fight to conquer Lucis. As new territories are conquered, children disappear without a trace and are left to be presumed dead.

One such child awakens with muddled memories deep inside a Niflheim laboratory alongside her completely amnesiac twin, both given new names and unaware of just what had been done to them. They were under constant observation and testing by the lab's scientists, with whispers of "monsters" and "sickness" caught by the children's ears.

Unknown to them, the kidnapped children had been spliced with daemons on a cellular level. With the immunity to light of man and the immense power of daemons honed with intellect, they were meant to be the starting point of Niflheim's greatest military asset.

Few of the subjects survived the experimentation, however. If they weren't killed as a direct result of the grafting with daemons, then it was their minds that broke and Niflheim was forced to euthanize the uncontrollable beings.

At the age of eleven Jiao's twin seemingly succumbed to the mental effects and went on a sudden rampage, slaughtering the branch personnel and nearly killing Jiao herself. Her twin was, in turn, killed by the only other successful subject at the laboratory.

Jiao herself managed to escape amidst the chaos and destruction, taking with her various folders and files with information regarding the project Niflheim had made her a part of.

She would burn the information, but the truth would never leave her mind. Though haunted by her daemonic nature, the abilities it provided allowed her to survive on her own. With heightened physical capabilities, as well as an ability to morph her body into monstrous shapes, she leads life as a mercenary more often than not.
