So
Jesus.
So, I suppose an update is in order right? My mental health is still struggling. I’ve taken some time away from Jim and just used my dash for my personal for a while. I have been waiting for 14 months for an appointment to see a member of the mental health team.
I’m finally making some sort of progress there, however I don’t know how long it will be, if ever?? That I can find my motivation to write here again.
If you want to find me: it’s prinxessofsmiles
Otherwise? I’ll be around, lurking possibly?
What if I came back here and started RPing again?
Haha!
Unless…? 🤔

IF THEY HAD A KID… (MEME)
@noblehcart : If They Had A Kid... Jareth/Liesel (tELL ME ABOUT A KID ur turn)
Well! We’ve already had a very productive conversation about the Twins™, and you covered firstborn son Alaric, so why don’t I cover the girl? For reference, I don’t think Jareth and Liesel got to luck into having a baby girl almost immediately. Chaos boychild definitely came between her and Alaric, although--like the twins--he might have been “adopted.” Or not. I can’t decide which feels truer? I just feel like both Jare and Liese would want a daughter and enjoy the angst of them not having one for a bit. :3
Name: Niamh (pronounced neev)
Gender: clever girl
General appearance: Skin that seems always to be dappled and cheeks dusted with freckles like stars in the sky. She has Liesel’s nose and mouth but Jareth’s wild eyes and high cheekbones.
Personality: Caught between her two brothers, Niamh is somewhere in-between on the sliding scale of child behavior. While she does admittedly tend to follow in Alaric’s footsteps as being a quieter, less rambunctious person--it must be something in the genes, man, this is Kid Two to be like that!--there is a puckishness to her that cannot be denied. When the library books go missing, when chocolate fingerprints are found in forbidden places, when a trail of raisins can be found on a windowsill overlooking the meadow, the culprit is almost certainly sweet Niamh, though she almost never seems to be caught for it. Liesel knows the mischief in her daughter’s eye well enough to know who’s really to blame, but Jareth seems fully convinced she can do no wrong. In spite of her mischievous tendencies, however, Niamh truly is a good child, perhaps more neutral than either parent but independent and gently herself.
Special Talents: Alaric Dream-Weaver outshines most if not all of his siblings, but that doesn’t mean Niamh is someone to be overlooked. Her mother’s natural talent for languages has translated into her own ability to speak any language she encounters, even that of the wind, the woods, and any of the little animals. In this way she can almost bend the world to her whim. Almost. Niamh’s other peculiar talent is the ability to walk on water, something neither parent can place the origin of but both quite enjoy watching, particularly when Niamh is so overcome with emotion that she dances on the water instead.
Who they like better: Jareth, without a doubt. He lets her get away with more things when she’s young, although as she matures she ends up liking both secondmost to Alaric.
Who they take after more: Liesel, actually! They both share a deep sense of wonder and love for the world around them.
Personal headcanon: As much as they would have liked her to stay, Niamh eventually goes to live in another of the faerie kingdoms--among the nymphs or the mermaids, I think--where she explodes into a second kind of life, one more animated and carefree than the one she was able to lead in the Goblin Kingdom.
Face Claim: I’ll never not be tempted to say Rachel Hurd-Wood, but for the sake of variety, how do we like Iva Varvarchuk?
1: the way that man says “baby” is so soothing to the soul.
2: his voice is just *chef’s kiss*
none of my drafts look appealing so uhhhhh, hit the heart. for each like i’ll post a new baby open.
Hey guys! So I run a Labyrinth game on a D20 system (D&D 5E, to be precise) with an emphasis on puzzle-solving and roleplaying. It’s great fun!, but my current party’s kinda...flaky. Would anyone here (yes, including you, one and only party member following me here) be interested in giving the game a go? We can either use the D20 system or the in-game D6 system.
