I'm sorry for my tardiness! We're having a sort of FN@F event over at my group and it's so addicting to watch my muses die over how scared they are -- Side note, anyone wants a thread with Rosa?

Most people, myself included, become extremely discourage in rping in a group where the moderators themselves become inactive because it really does seem like they're either half-assing it or just.. bluntly given up on it. I poke in every so often and see it just be slow all together and just roll back out. Normally seeing the mods do their part helping the dash moves usually gets me and others moving but when that doesn't really happen it just becomes kind of like, what's the point in just going on if they're not even trying.

Events usually help in getting members to mingle. Probably a bit more flexible with the activity rule since sometimes people get lazy with doing long posts and would rather do short ones. I had to cut that part out of my group's activity rule and it has helped in moving the dashboard, which is usually what people who are considering in joining groups tend to look for as well. Others are just startled at the sight of 'long paras', especially in the Pokemon community. At least that is what I have picked up in my couple of years in RPing in this community.

Another good thing that helps is getting the muns to get to know each other! Break the ice between them and get them to talk more out of characters. That usually makes it easier to come up with plots and possibly anything else that will also help in getting things moving on the dashboard. For example, in my group we also have our 'family game nights' which would include games like EpicMafia and Cards Against Humanity, or even the little 'crack'-like RPs on Chatzy. These are good in helping with loosening up the nervousness between the new members and the older ones, getting to feel like we're one big happy family.

Hello! I play Rosa, you guys can either call me that or Whit (the character I am more known to play), either or works fine with me! I joined this group with my boyfriend and look forward to roleplaying with everyone! I have a total of... 4+ years roleplaying with a few years oh hiatus in between the first year and the latter ones. On tumblr... I believe it's working on the 3rd year soon enough. I might have my numbers all wrong. Anywho, I cant wait to get started! HMU if you want a starter/plot!
