//A friend of my girlfriend and I (and fellow Fireteam member) got me the Destiny cookbook and THIS ADORABLE GUY for my birthday and let me open it early because I was having a shitty day yesterday.
IT’S A DUCK OF MY FAVE HUNTER BOI CAYDE-6 HE’S ADORABLE AND SMELLS GREAT AND I LOVE HIM.
//Today on things Kara learns about Destiny characters, I find out that Hawthorne used her status as honorary Guardian to participate in the Guardian games for Team Titan and teamed up with Zavala to clear Lost Sectors during the event.
I’m-
//Fun things to do while writing Destiny fanfiction:
1. Try to think up alternatives to cuss words, especially when writing canon characters, knowing that the only character to actually swear in game is Ikora (who, honestly, is probably the person you’d least expect from unless you know her background, but even then...)
2. Read lore for inspiration.
3. Discover that the phrase “What in the Traveler’s crack” is a legitimate curse/exclamation (fucking love you, Lady Efrideet).
4. Proceed to laugh because honestly that is better than anything I could come up with.
//Lol I meant to upload this here a couple of weeks back when Scorched was actually making the rounds but uh... yeah, this is why it’s generally a bad idea to go afk even for a moment when I’m around and I’m armed with a Scorch Cannon.
My Dawnblade Warlock will find your ass and absolutely destroy you, and your more mobile teammates just to get to you.
//I must apologise for not being active of late here. I’ve been so obsessed with Destiny 2 of late, especially since getting my gf into it. I’ve been playing the heck out of the Season of Arrivals and demolishing whole entire fireteams in Scorched without batting an eyelid so there’s that.
And if I’m not destroying Hive with my Hunter, annihilating Fallen with my Titan and obliterating other Guardians with my Warlock, I’m also currently writing a collection of Destiny lore-style fanfics which is quite fun.
I’m honestly debating turning this blog into a kinda multi-muse blog featuring my Guardians because I’d love to rp with them and it would help me get their voices down a bit better but we’ll see if I can pull myself away from gaming long enough to do that XD.
//Was playing on Clash in the Crucible on Destiny 2 last night.
I ended up pretty much single handedly fucking the entire enemy fireteam, including two Arcstrider Hunters mid-super.
I am firmly in camp ‘Anti-Hard Light’ and I do believe this gun needs to be nerfed, but until then, if you can’t beat them, join them. With a side helping of Mobius Quiver Shadowshot.
