Yes, Vlad works at a convenience store. Yes, he usually has to take the night shift. Yes, He’s had to deal with all sorts creeps and weirdos in his store. Yes, he’s had to fuck some people up but that’s hard to do when you’re trying to keep the fact that you’re a witch on the down-low. Yes, his store is haunted. Yes, he needs a new job.

[I think about Vladimir’s relationship with Lafayette and I think to myself... “Yikes.”  Okay. Lemme explain. Vladimir both loves and hates Lafayette. Lafayette wasn’t there when Veronica died, and Vlad was injured, and the worst part is that Lafayette won’t give Vlad an answer as to why he wasn’t. Don’t get it twisted, Vlad will always, ALWAYS blame himself for his mother’s death, but he feels like Lafayette is partially responsible. Also Lafayette is... not a very good person. Like, at all. He’s a self-serving asshole that will actively try to keep Vladimir from helping others if it inconveniences him. He’ll lie, cheat, steal, manipulate, and even kill to get what he wants, and that’s one of the biggest reasons why he was kicked out of the moonlight court. However, Lafayette isn’t a complete nightmare. He does care about Vladimir, he does try to learn from his mistakes, he does help others (even if it only serves to help him earn good favor with his court), and he does go out of his way to spoil and bound with Vladimir. He’s extremely protective of Vlad and will literally die for the boy, not that he’ll ever admit it.]
