Okay wow hi that’s a long time. 4 years maybe? Damn I can’t believe you’ve managed to stick around for so long because geez a lot has happened. But thank you so much! I’m so flattered that people like my interactions with others. But it wouldn’t have been possible without them!

Alright lads! I’m off to bed. I’m travelling home tomorrow. Depending on what the internet is like on the train, I’ll either do replies, or make icons. I’ll have internet at the airport, so I’ll definitely be on then.

//teeny update for those who care I'm not going to MCM, so the cosplay rush isn't as stressful as I said it would be. I'm still trying to finish my costumes before the end of the month because I know what I'm like and I would probably neglect those if I put them away. But I'm currently very stressed. I'm viewing a house next week and I'm nervous as hell. I really -need- this house. It's unlikely I'll get another chance like this. So that, and money, and 'work' (I say work but it's more like an internship) are stressing me the hell out because not only is my ex asking too much rent for what I can afford which leaves me with no money to save for furniture, I'm not doing too well at work because I've been ill, as well as exhausted, and really unmotivated to go at all. I'm bored as hell and I've asked to be moved to a different department to get a bit more variety with the work, but they first want me to perform better at the current department. Which I can't because the work is so tedious... On top of my ex being a tit, diagnostics at the gender clinic is going painstakingly slow. It's been two months since my last appointment, and my next one is going to be in three weeks. I'm supposed to have an appointment every month, but due to them cocking up, many of my appointments have been cancelled or planned incorrectly. It's just taking too long, and I'm going to need four more appointments before my psychologist will decide on whether I can start transitioning or not because I'm currently emotional unstable. But with their pace, I'll be a fucking pensioner before I get to start T. So yeah I'm very stressed and depressed these days and I barely feel like doing roleplays. I'm sorry, but I can't get excited to them right now. Maybe I'll have spurs of motivation, but right now I just don't fucking care.

Because I’m fucking horrible at maintaining this blog, I thought I’d show you guys what I’m currently working on to show you that I’m not just slacking about

Row 1: Sword for Bronn, which I can take apart so I can put a different handle on it for when I cosplay Jorah. This way, I don’t have to make the blade twice. I’m also resanding Bronn’s Kukri because the last paintjob got damaged.

Row 2: the Traveller cape I’m making for a commissioner. I made one for @rich-brook last summer so this is my second go at it.

Row 3: Star Wars costumes. Photo 1 and 2: I made Kylo Ren’s under tunic and leather belt for a commissioner. I’ll be doing more alteration work to his current costume soon. Photo 3: my tunic for Obi Wan, with the attention on the sleeves which are HUGE because they had to be wrinkly. Not pictured is the progress for Poe Dameron’s costume I’m making for my ex.

Row 4: Refining Fili (pardon the pun). I made the tiles ages ago but never got to actually finishing them. So I’ve been sanding and painting them and now I’ve glued them on with contact glue, but for extra safety, I will have to sew them on the jerkin as well. And my wig got a restyle because it was in need of a wash and trim.

So yeah I’m not idle. Just busy. Or gaming. Because Fallout 4 is my life. But mostly working on commissions so I can have a bit of extra money now that I’m on benefits (which by far isn’t going to pay for my monthly costs, so I do what I have to to keep my pets fed) That’s why I’ve decided to patch up my best costumes and perfect them a bit more. Bronn still didnmt have a sword, and Jorah’s sword was…. Clunky and not accurate. I also want to make Jorah’s new weaponskirts, for which I already have all fabrics so it’s just a matter if finding the time to do it.

But the pictures above are all for a con during easter weekend, so that’s two weeks from now. I still have to get a LOT done for Poe, and the most horrible part for the Journey cap is to come now: stitching. And while I can always dump Fili’s jerkin when I notice I’m not going to make it, I can pick it up after the con in preparation for the NEXT CON the weekend after. But that week between cons I wanted to make a Funko Pop for Louise Brealey (she’s attending) and I also wanted to get @itsnotmyrealname ’s Ariel dress done because I’m excited to sew something I haven’t done before but also slightly terrified :S

So when the con is over, the prep for MCM London starts, for which I have my Obi Wan costume to finish, and 6 Yogscast related costumes (for those familiar with the yogscast: I’m making a Turps cosplay for myself, Magic Police robes for my Sjin-friend and my own Duncan, AND I’ll be making costumes for three of the yogs as well. I’m making a jacket for Lewis’ minecraft character, and Sips and Sjin will get their matching spacesuit zoodies.

I think you are a good person. I admire how you stand up for what's right even though that is not easy to do. You treat everyone with respect, even if you don't care for them. You have a great moral compass and I am glad you are on tumblr rp to help keep us all moving toward being good people. Thank you!

Wooooow what? I’m pretty sure many people would disagree (ahem). I’ve been trying to stay out of drama because eeeeeeeeergh it used to be pretty bad, didn’t it? I’m glad those times are over, though. I’m also far more able to scroll past things simply because I can’t be bothered most of the time. But I take it it’s a Dutch thing to say what’s on my mind and be quite forward with it. 50% of the time it might come off as rude, but it’s a thing we’re known for, and often not considered rude at all by Dutchies. I suppose that is what gets me into trouble a lot on here.

I don’t think my writing is that good. Too simple and standard. There’s some insanely talented people on my dash and I wish I was only half as good as they are.
