Well I Dont Remember Ordering A Cutie From Amazon And Yet Here You Are
ericareyesdidnotgolightly asked:
"What? Oh, no~," she laughs like what he's said is preposterous and downright insanity. "No, no, no, noooo. I just sleep here and keep all my clothes here and eat here and spend all my time here. It's not like, I //live// here or anything, oh heavens no!" She laughs again, this time it's a little more sharp, but not mean; he's amusing and she's not sure why, usually she hates when people ask obvious questions. Tilting her head, she raises a brow. "And what about you?"
He squints as she continues to talk, eyebrows furrowing just a little, before he realizes —sarcasm; she’s using sarcasm. That clears a few things up for him, and he even offers a gentle, albeit somewhat awkward chuckle in response — that’s the correct response to sarcasm, right? He deliberates for a second, glancing back towards her bed, before returning his gaze to the blonde and taking a slow step forward, away from it, his limbs unfamiliar in their length.
”Um, I— Well, yeah, I live here too, I guess.”
"You guess? You're not sure? Please, do tell." Crossing her arms, she leaned against the frame of her doorway, one side of her smile ticking up slightly as she teased him, cheeks dimpling slightly as she held back a laugh.
Raising her eyebrows, she waited for his response, tilting her head to lean against the doorway as well as she considered him. He was inordinately tall--nothing new when you were surrounded by unfortunately good looking men and you were only average height yourself---but while he was broader and more filled out than Isaac, he still had the loose lanky sort of look about him that kept him from looking like Derek or even Scott. There was something familiar about him though, something she couldn't put a finger on. The way he looked, the way he smelled...her eyes narrowed just slightly as she waited, considering.
