DO I LIKE READING. Ha. Yes. Yes, I do. And I’m not sure I do have a favourite book. There are ones that have brought me so much joy over countless, endless reads, and I will carry with me to the end of the earth:
A Dream of Sadlers Wells by Lorna Hill
Rivals by Jilly Cooper
The Captive Prince series by CS Pacat
Devil’s Cub by Georgette Heyer
Katherine by Anya Seton
And yes, there are flaws in some of those but there’s an emotional satisfaction that comes every single time I read them.
Then there are the books that I might only have read once or possibly twice but they’ve stayed with me:
At Swim, Two Boys by Jamie O’Neill, which is out of print but you should go and find a second hand copy (there are lots on Amazon) because life is more beautiful after you read this.
Life after Life by Kate Atkinson, and its sort-of-sequel A God in Ruins.
And I’m not at home so I can’t peruse my bookshelves to make sure I’ve got the most important ones, but I think I’ve got them.

TOO DIFFICULT. Fall Out Boy remain forever my favourites, as do Panic! at the Disco, because Brendon brings me so much joy. I genuinely love One Direction. Ash’s Girl From Mars remains fundamentally and inextricably linked to my teens. That moment we heard My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark for the first time and we knew that Fall Out Boy were back and everyone was so excited and so happy and it felt so great. Fireproof has over 700 listens in just my iTunes alone, which is 300 more than its closest rival, even taking into account that time my laptop set on fire and destroyed years of itunes history. That bit in Hallelujah where Brendon sings ALL YOU SINNERS STAND UP SING HALLELUJAH and I want to stand up and sing every single time.
@outrunningthezombies sent me 16, 44, and 87 in regards to this set of asks. Sorry its been like over a week. I had finals and I’ve only really been on mobile to procrastinate and stock up my queue so this kind of got buried in my drafts b/c formatting on mobile + tagging is crap and I try not to post stuff until I can look at it on my computer.
16. How tall are you? I am 5 feet and 2 and a half inches tall. I am not tall, I am short.
44. Do you like tattoos and piercings? Its really a toss up. I like tattoos in theory, especially when done well and on other people. I might get one, but I haven’t found something I want permanently on my body. Piercings it depends on where. I have my ears pierced and multiple ear piercings isn’t bad. Nose and eyebrow are also okay. Belly button is sketchy and not for me but it doesn’t look to bad on other people. Lip and mouth is a definite no and idk about nipple and other more private areas just that I probably wouldn’t be able to do it cause the idea makes me want to flinch.
87. Do your socks always match? That is a weird question, but yes, I do make an effort to sort my socks so they match and even if they don’t I’m at least wearing the same type of sock.

I put so much thought into my tenth anniversary present for @outrunningthezombies. There were like, four different reasons for giving it to her. I agonised over it. I trawled the web to find the perfect gift. I spent hours trying to get it just right.
