The desire to watch more outer wilds with the curse of I can't play it myself and everyone who puts it online DOESN'T USE AUTO PILOT AND THEY SPEND 5 MINUTES EVERY LOOP OVERSHOOTING PLANETS BECAUSE THEY DON'T JUST FUCKING USE THE AUTO PILOT
I have patience for any other aspect of the game like you can't figure out how to get in somewhere? Forgetting stuff you've learned? That's all fine! Just use the FUCKING AUTOPILOT

"They don't even bother to hunt you down anymore." That is the end screen you get in echoes of the eye if you remove the core and die entering or while within the inhabitants simulation. "They don't even bother to hunt you down anymore." This is coming from a community where 2/3rds of the people they just spent the last 280,000+ years with have just blipped from existence, eternally. No way to get them back. There's what, 11 people left? Not including the 'traitor'? With infinity ahead of them? Knowing what they've done, having chosen to end the universe's life cycle to the extent of their knowledge. Having condemned one of their own to an eternity of solitude, with limited capacity, and no intention of releasing them. With the addition of this new creature they cannot communicate with but rather treat with hostility. How exceptional the company must be in order to not accept new or old friendships in the wake of such tragedy. How self important, or steeped in guilt you must be to be hostile to this creature WHO CHOSE TO REMAIN WITH YOU. There's no way the hatchling didn't choose. Purposely took out the core ending the ATP. Making a decision similar to theirs, that they'd rather live in certainty for eternity rather than die for the possibility of continued life. Or even if it was a rash survival decision, that the hatchling's ship crashed into the stranger on the way to deep bramble. It was still a choice. And yet hostility and indifference is all the hatchling can look forward to. It hurts, you see?
I still wanna say how fucking cool it is that the eye's signal conveys what it looks like artistically because damn the difference between the nomai eye and stranger eye is just style

Lolol I do the same. Originally it was just cause ow is taken up by overwatch but this game gives me so much existential dread (don't get me wrong I super appreciate how masterful this game is) that owie works fuckin wonders lolol
