In December of 2012 Ye performed at Revel in Atlantic City. Across his three-night run at Ovation Hall, Ye built a winter-themed world on stage complete with falling snow, towering screens, and visuals that shifted with every song.
One of the most iconic moments came when he performed in a fur-covered mask and all white look, earning the nickname “Kanyeti,” before later switching into a crystal-covered Maison Martin Margiela mask for the “Diamonds” remix.
The performance was raw, theatrical, and unpredictable, one of those performances that blurred the line between concert and art piece.
