“I realized I had to stop it (LSD) or it would finish me off, but the realization I came to during those trips have made my life worthwhile. I discovered that everything is nothing. I mean, a tree is nothing, the a building is the same as a tree. Why am I here? For no reason at all, you know, because everything is nothing-only what you make of it. I decided the only reason for living is to create, to help make things blossom, otherwise there is no reason for existence.”
— Sharon Tate, as quoted by journalist Peter Evans in 1969. He knew both Sharon and Roman personally.
This quote was included in an article for the Sunday Mirror titled “The Sharon I Knew,” which was written by Peter Evans one day after Sharon’s passing.

The heartbreaking black-and-white photograph captures baseball legend Joe DiMaggio openly weeping at the funeral of his ex-wife, Hollywood starlet Marilyn Monroe, in 1962. Following her sudden and tragic passing, DiMaggio assumed complete control of the private funeral arrangements, consciously barring Hollywood executives and prominent politicians to shield her final moments from public spectacle.
For the next 20 consecutive years, he safely arranged for fresh red roses to be delivered to her crypt three times a week. This deeply enduring emotional devotion presents his profound, unbreakable lifelong grief.

Often referred to as the King of Pop’s last magazine photoshoot, this cover for Italian Vogue was directed by Rushka Bergman who befriended Michael and eventually became his personal stylist afterwards.

In December of 2012 Ye performed at Revel in Atlantic City. Across his three-night run at Ovation Hall, Ye built a winter-themed world on stage complete with falling snow, towering screens, and visuals that shifted with every song.
One of the most iconic moments came when he performed in a fur-covered mask and all white look, earning the nickname “Kanyeti,” before later switching into a crystal-covered Maison Martin Margiela mask for the “Diamonds” remix.
The performance was raw, theatrical, and unpredictable, one of those performances that blurred the line between concert and art piece.
