bruh why are people on the internet so mean

today i’ve been harassed by five different people for three different posts

and i know sometimes my posts aren’t worded in the nicest ways

but i feel like having opinions about fictional characters and fiction doesn’t give people the right to tell me that i’m a bad person or to assume things about my life that aren’t true??

this site has been so toxic and aggressive lately to the point where people are so bored and desperate to attack anyone they disagree with just because they don’t like seeing stuff that makes them think that they might not be 100% right and the topic might have nuance.

anyway if you like sending hate to random people and seeking out opinions you disagree with just to shit on the random person who made them, then you’re the worst kind of person.
