1. is she boring, or are you saying that because she’s a girl?

2. is she annoying, or are you saying that because she’s a girl?

3. is she a bully/overly aggressive, or are you saying that because she’s a girl?

4. is she a crybaby/overly sensitive, or are you saying that because she’s a girl?

5. would you like or even tolerate this character more than you do if she was a boy?

it always gives me the ick when people blame the modern "booktok" epidemic, in which all of the most popular books are nothing but thrown together garbage held together with smut and tropes, on "middle aged women" as if men of all ages haven't been the leading contributors to horrible books for centuries-

it's like-

men still write awful books too, why are we only blaming women for being shitty writers when men and nonbinary people and all the genders of the rainbow have contributed to this horrible thing?

i wish there were more fanfictions that were written in a classic style

that's probably really pretentious of me

but i feel like it would be so cool to have like an undertale fanfiction that's sans x toriel and super goofy and silly and has all the fun aspects of undertale fanfiction but is also written like a jane austen book

idk i just think that would be cool

maybe i should write that
