I like to think that somewhere, someday, Din will have a person to come home to. He'll have a tiresome and rough day, the sole thing keeping him going will be his person, waiting for him with warmth and understanding. He'll come home and they'll greet him with a sunshine smile and open their arms, so Din doesn't even think twice before he burrows himself into their embrace and tucks his face in their neck. He'll just let himself be quietly loved for as long as he needs, and they'll have no problems with being there for him. Eventually they'll gently and silently remove his armor, all while Din has his eyes glued to theirs, and when they finally remove his helmet, the intensity of his gaze will rob them of their breath, and both will be suspended in time for a few heartbeats. He'll slowly tip forward and rest his forehead on their torso while hugging their hips, fingertips digging into their body, but they won't mind. He'll feel the all encompassing belonging feeling when their hands fall like puzzle pieces onto his hair and his neck, rubbing soothing circles and sighing, and he will feel known.
I hope this helps you in any way 💕
oh plssss sjfdfkjds this is everything I could ever want. I love soft din and this was just ahhhh my heart.
I wish I could be that person he could come home to. He deserves all the love and comfort. I'd hold him for hours like this if I could 🥺🥺
