INKTOBER DAY 2 JC OC Challenge - Amami
My original character dressed up as a miko, or shrine priestess/maiden with 2 Hitodama around her. In the concept story that she comes from, Amami goes on a voyage to save her brother’s soul from being consumed by darkness. Along the way she faces many other souls that have already become black and tries her best to understand and ease the troubled spirits. A shrine priestess seemed fitting. The awesome artist @overlordjc had an OC Halloween Costume challenge during october, so I drew this for it. [Rescanned]
Watching a stream of OverLordJC’s and got inspired to draw some characters on chat. First one is JC’s own character, Shavan.
Second character is BNMotive’s Clara.
Third character is Celestial Harp’s Vaegrant.
Then there’s Crabman, who deserves his own page.
I want to ink and color them eventually, but I like how these look as it is ^^

★ Black Dress Chun-Li ★
I’ve been experimenting with grayscale and gradient mapping lately. Since I haven’t drawn this version of Chun I decided to make this one of my first tests. It was kind of a failure, but I learned quite a bit about the process. I’m hoping to get better at it in the future so I’ll have another useful tool in my belt.
