For every “Trope” I get, I will post a TV trope for my muse.

The Heart

This personality aspect comes up in just about any ensemble. Their personality is based on getting the others to recognize that there are more things at stake than their personal vendettas. Especially if The Team is starting to become Knight Templar or if any individual becomes a Well-Intentioned Extremist, this is the person who will argue and fight against the justification of "I Did What I Had to Do". Quite often The Heart character will also be an All-Loving Hero, where they go out of their way to help all of the little people.

[i legitimately don’t care about Star Wars. At all. Never have. Maybe it’s because I missed the curve on it developing nostalgia for me, since my parents didn’t like it much and so I wasn’t exposed to it. But now, I can’t bring myself to give a shit about it. Sure, they’re good movies, but the obsessive way people faun over it doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve never been huge on space or machines or anything like that, and those things make Star Wars what it really is, in my opinion.]

She felt on edge. Antsy. Jumpy. Her conversation with Zola had taken the edge off her anger but it hadn’t settled anything in her mind and she figured a good fight might just do that. At least she hoped it would. At the very least it might help her focus a little energy. Tune out the world long enough to get a handle on all the new information Brock had dumped in her lap recently.

Yes, a good fight was exactly what she needed.

She’d just finished taping her hands when the promised minion knocked. “Come in.” She secured the tape and looked up. “Were you told what you were required for?”

Sloth

Sloth:a headcanon about something your character hates to do or simply hates in general

The easiest thing to say would be that she hates prejudice, hates unfair discrimination, so I'll go a different route.

Going to bars with Charles stick out a lot as something she genuinely loathed; not the Charles part, because he's wonderful and she really does adore him, but watching him flirt was near-infuriating/depressing.

There's the initial discomfort that comes with, you know, watching the early stages of what ends with your brother having a one night stand, and then anger because using his mutation to pick up little boosts to reaching his goal. Then defiance, the millisecond she's telling herself she doesn't have to sit there and sip soda and wait for an unpleasant ride home - she could get up and go talk to anyone, meet a guy; after all, she's anyone's type, it wouldn't be hard.

Then sadness, because even if she went through with it, it wouldn't have really been her that did it, would it? Her powers did a wonderful job of reminding her even in made-up scenarios that her power was good only for malcontent hiding.

It wasn’t the knocking that woke Mel up from the soundest sleep she’d had in ages. No, it was Hercules standing at the door, growling deeply with his hackles raised defensively. Groaning as she peeled herself from the bed, Mel scrubbed a hand over her face and padded her way across her faux-tile flooring to the door. Her knee gently shooed the Rottweiler planted in front of the obnoxiously-red door. This had better be good.

The door swung open and Mel was greeted to the sight of…some dude. Nothing too interesting, not in the slightest. Propping herself against the frame, she asked, “So, what’re you supposed to be?”
