Okay, I am almost ecstatic at this banner, but only in terms of the art. The only disappointment is that with Sylvain did not come a mergeable grail Felix who would be Leo levels of grouchy at having to be there, but that’s made up for by Ingrid’s gorgeous art and Dorothea getting to be a dancer (which makes me think her normal self would be a dancer too?). The new skills look interesting, but I can’t think of anyone to give Guard Bearing or Atk Cantrip to that doesn’t mess with their current builds. It’s not like I can fodder a Dorothea to my Tethys because she already ate a Yune, and I’m not sure if Shigure can use Ingrid’s B skill either. Duo Byleth/Rhea would be nice, but eh, I can wait. That being said, I think I’m mostly here for the art this time? If Sylvain was red I’d be much happier to get him to +10 because I already have a glorious green cav mage who’s already fully built. If I get enough copies I’ll merge him pretty far because I love Sylvain and we respect Sylvain in this house, but if I don’t I’d be happy to fodder a copy to Leo so he has the tome? Mostly at this point I’m just going to be happy to have a mergeable Golden Deer to work with, even if he’s red and might not have a team yet, because I don’t have many Golden Deer. Ultimately, I’m not sure what I’m going to put my orbs to in this. If Felix was here it would be an automatic drop everything to get him, but he’s not so I think it’s just going to be go hard to get a few copies of green Sylvain, maaaaaaybe a Dorothea and Ingrid if I’m lucky, and save my grails for a +10 of grail Lorenz if his skills are worth it. Now, to wonder what seasonal banner would be lucky enough to even have a Felix, let alone a mergeable one. Maybe a Halloween banner with Lysithea, Annette and Bernadetta, or maybe Ashe to avoid the weirdness of the banner where those three came out together?
