They're constructs. Advanced ones made out of soul energy constrained to an amethyst core. They were made to replace farmers, miners, people who only worked to gather things that were already there, but after the ███████ ███████ civilization collapsed, they lost the ability after centuries of little to no upkeep.

This is my theory for the Sniffer: The Sniffer was a herbivore from tens of millions of years ago. Their bright colouring was to confuse predators. They were closely related to the ender dragon with 6 limbs, eggs, and large nostrils. Sniffer eggs absorb nutrients from moss to hatch faster, as moss use to cover their natural habitat. Sniffer eat torchflowers and pitcher pods. they don't care too much about eggs or mating. Though if they have a live child they will care for it. they are pack animals though they can sometimes be solitary. They lay their eggs near bodies of water so the tide washes their egg away. the egg will be in a dormant stage until it washes upon a beach somewhere else. Sometimes sniffer eggs will get washed under sand at the bottom of the water. If sniffers see an egg wash up on the beach, they will bring it to a nest in a hiding spot to grow. when they hatch, they can stand up within minutes of hatching. They follow the sniffer that adopted them until adulthood, where they will leave their adopter to look for a mate or a pack.

Skeletons (mortis ossis normalis) [family-genus-species]

•controlled by a fungus that attaches to the bones and takes over the mind

•the fungus quickly "eats" all the flesh except the braun

•the fungus uses small [whatever the "roots" of fungi are called] to move the bones and hold them together and connects to the now deceased brain to restart it into order to gain the mental capacity to use a bow well

•when prey is killed and all other danger is either too far away to be a threat or dead the skeleton sits next to it then the fungus to grow around the corpse to "eat" its flesh during this process the skeleton cannot move as controlling the skeleton and flesh "eating" both take too much energy to do at the same time

•after this process the fungi regains control of the skeleton and uses it to rip off the part of the fungi that was grown into order to "eat" the corpse

•despite most prey consumption and host take over nothing involving flesh "eating" prey consumption is not re productive and it is currently believed that skeletons are infertile as non born after 9189 B.N [before neither] have been found

•despite processing almost everything needed to digest plant and fungi matter the fungi is only physically able to break down animal flesh into pieces it can absorb

•this is way the bogged exist there are not a different species but the result of the fungi having no defense against other fungi or plants from growing on the skeleton

•strays however are a different species with Wither Skeleton being a different class

Creepers

•small grassy mobile plant

• explosion spreads seeds which grow best underground hence the destructive nature of the explosion

• seeds also suck up exp and blood I guess which why creepers only explode when near things

•creeper, when deciding to explode, are aware it's a spreading seeds things but in no way aware it will kill them in the process
