Minecraft bee headcanons!!!
The flavour, fragrance, and colour of Bees' honey changes depending on what kinds of flowers they feed on.
If a Bee attempts to feed on a Chorus flower, they will become very nauseous, dizzy, and may fly into walls, water, or flames. As a result, Bees should be kept far away from these plants to avoid what is called amongst beekeepers "Chorus sickness".
If you feed a Bee a diet of half poppies and half pink tulips, their honey will taste a lot like strawberry jam!
Sometimes, the pheromones of bees from a distant colony cross over with others, and confuses them. They will forget where their hive is and start wandering aimlessly. You'll find these little confused guys far away from their home, or even any flowers at all. Sadly, this confusion is permanent, and they won't be able to accept any hive as their own.
The "bee buzzes happily" subtitle is actually accurate - Bees will get remarkably happy when they feed on flowers and some even have favourite types of flowers!
Sometimes, bees who are kept in hives or nests with campfires underneath them will get a bit too hot, and will fly around for a bit to cool off.
Sometimes, young Bees can't tell the difference between flowers and fungi, and may spend a remarkable amount of time bonking hopelessly against mushrooms trying to pollenate them.
Bees can occasionally get stuck on their backs like beetles. Please do them a favour and flip them back over!
