okay now that that’s out of the way! I loved Saeran’s route a lot because it actually kind of reminded me of Kuroyuki’s route. And everyone knows how much I love Saeran’s route. So imagine how much I love Kuroyuki’s route. A lot.
I really loved Kuroyuki’s route to a feverish level and while I know I’m not the only Kuroyuki fan, I know that Kuroyuki’s route gets a lot of flack because of some problematic aspects but I don’t care. Kuroyuki’s route is perfect. His story is perfect. His characterization is perfect. Enju as a heroine is perfect. Kuroyuki’s route is perfect.
And this is really veering into unpopular territory but I really enjoyed the way Kuroyuki and Enju’s romance story is handled. It’s disastrous and messy and I loved every second of it. When you get down to it, they’re both immature, traumatized teenagers who don’t know how to love in a healthy manner and evidence of that bleeds through at the beginning. But they both work through it slowly and painfully together and the results slowly show! And I love it!! I know Enju in particularly gets a lot of flack for being “weak” or “useless” but honestly those people can exit on the left and leave my daughter alone lmao.
