Serious talk involving the recent comic. I think Baptiste is going to be revealed to be Talon after Hanzo, Kiriko and Mizuki joins Overwatch, we know that Mizuki is a spy for the Hashimoto and with them working with Talon now its likely that he's going to be a spy for Talon too. This leads me to believe that Baptiste will be accused of being the spy and being forced to leave.
This brings me to the recent comic. I think Cassidy will leave with Baptiste if he gets kicked out or imprisoned. After the reveal Cass will likely be under fire for bringing him in and Cass isn't one to actually keep secrets. He was going to tell Ashe about Julian's betrayal, he likely told Mina about Moira, he's been on record saying that he doesn't like keeping secrets. So he likely won't shy away from saying that he knew Baptiste was ex-Talon.
Which leads me to these two panels;
Do a lot to show the mental state Cassidy is in, and while he says it's water under the bridge, I don't believe that. Deadlock actually looking for him was something he didn't know. It was something that was kept from him for around 20 years.
So I think at this point if Baptiste gets kicked out for being ex-Talon when he chose to be with Overwatch while he did just as bad in both Deadlock and Blackwatch, combining that with the fact that he didn't have a choice but to join. Yeah, I think that will cause him to leave, at least temporarily until Mizuki comes clean.
Now let's get into the narrative development. Cassidy is a focus character, just like Sojourn and Juno. He's been a focus character since the first Overwatch comic. This means him leaving with Baptiste will give us the ability to change focus to other characters.
Like other ex-Talon.
Cassidy is likely going to confront Reaper at some point. And what better way then a recon mission trying to figure out what's happening with Talon from the new ex-Talon members. Especially one that was in the inner circle:
Not to mention if he's hunting down Reaper, Sombra and Widow that opens the door for Jack and Illari to join up. If not because of Reyes then because of Sombra. Cassidy already has some kind of association with her, so does Jack, Illari and Baptiste. If anything Cassidy leaving will likely open the door for Sombra to organise a team up.
