Cartoon Network refused to make commentary tracks for Regular Show.

So Owen did it himself.

Warner refused to properly market Infinity Train on HBO Max.

Warner refused to make in-depth behind-the-scenes looks at Infinity Train.

So Owen did it himself. 

Warner refused to give Infinity Train any merch beyond the rudimentary logo t-shirt.

So Owen’s doing it himself.

Owen Dennis is the most dedicated, passionate, animator I’ve ever seen. The studio screwed him over by not putting in the work to get his show out there, so instead of taking it he did everything himself. He’s the type of artist I aspire to be.

A lot of people compared Infinity Train to a combination of Adventure Time or Steven Universe and Gravity Falls. And while that might be true for the pilot, I feel like the show itself is gonna be more like Regular Show (which makes sense considering IT's creator Owen Dennis worked on that show) One thing that made RS stand out to other shows is how lawless and out there its universe was. An episode could be about almost anything. Video games breaking reality, time travelling tornadoes, junkyard kingdoms, or soapy romance. And the Infinity Train reminds me a lot of that. It's nonsensical and ridiculous and literally anything could be waiting for you behind the next door.

Conversation I had with @oweeeeendennis about the subject of submitting Infinity Train material to him. (posted with his permission)

The jist of his answer is that he currently can’t legally accept anything, and it’d be up to CN when and how he does. But still, he encourages us to create and work on our stuff nonetheless.

Infinity Train!!! I was so excited when this show by @oweeeeendennis was greenlit, I put together a Tulip cosplay! My favorite part of it is definitely this one-one that my Dad made. Isn’t it adorable?
