Finally Updating

I'm finally updating my Owl City Database blog. Put some new links in, as well as adding new entries on the "Blog Tracks", "Christmas Songs", "Singles List", and "Cover Songs" List.

1) What’s 3 things that were good about today?

Today the skies were blue and the clouds were enormous and fluffy, and the sun was shining, but it wasn't too hot. I got to spend time with my family and we rode on the swings, which I haven't done in a long time but have always loved. I also started reading a new book called Unseen Academicals by Terry Pratchett, and it has been good so far.

2) Do you sing in the shower and/or when you are home alone?

I do, yes! I don't sing so much in the shower as in my room when I'm alone. I like singing, just not in front of people, so it was pretty embarrassing when my grandma heard me in the shower when I was in fourth grade! I've stopped singing much since then, except when everyone else is out.

3) How would you describe your fashion tastes?

Hmm, that's tough. I like things that look old-fashioned, and are flowy and pretty or just a little bit oversized. I like skirts and dresses but I'm mostly just shirts and pants most of the time. I try not to be overdressed.

4) What is your favourite song ever and why?

Plant Life, by Owl City. I'm not quite sure why, but there's something about music talking about music, and music actually using musical terms in its words, that is just so magical to me. I like what it's about in general, too, like finding yourself and learning not to feel afraid or "dead" anymore.

5) If you could possess any skill what would it be?

Does wisdom count as a skill? If it does, then it would be it.

6) What was the last thing you ate?

A Swiss omelet with chips.

7) Do you like spicy food?

Yes. Where I live almost all of the traditional dishes are spicy, so I've kind of grown up with it.

8) What is your favourite quote?

I haven't really thought of that! The first thing that comes to mind right now s probably when Harry meets Dumbledore in that place he seems to think is King's Cross Station, and Dumbledore says, "Of course it is all in your head, Harry. But why on earth should that mean that it is not real?" As someone who writes in my own time, and someone who reads quite a bit, it's a comforting thought that all those worlds, characters, and stories that I love best are real.

9) If you could go back in history and meet anyone, who would it be?

Nicholas Flamel. He did exist, and although he didn't live to be immortal, apparently, because he died, he has been immortalized through many books and stories and legends about him. It would be the most amazing thing to see if he was actually as he is depicted.

10) Where is your favourite place in the world?

Golden Coast beach, in Sham Tseng, Hong Kong. I don't normally like beaches much, but it's a nice place to visit, especially toward the end of the year. It's just a clean, long stretch of ocean and sand, and you can just curl up with a book and watch the people and maybe grab something to eat. The weather is cool during winter, which isn't really winter. The temperatures are never below 8 degrees Celsius, and at night the apartment building nearby light up either slowly or all at once, and it's really pretty.

11) Do you think you’ve had a good run for your teen years?

Yes, so far!

haha well thank you. I am aware of that, but I'll try to rephrase what I said on the post to make more sense. I guess I meant he is not singing lead like on "Youtopia" and if it's backing vocals and instrumentation what separates it from the remix he did for Lights. He did keyboards and backing vocals. I guess I see terminals differently being that it is the original mix. Always appreciate your input. You're one of my most respected advisers. Hoot On!
