Announcing... April's Owl Post Club postcard! Explosive Experiments 🧨⚡️✨ This illustration was so fun to make! For April, I wanted to draw something with Fred and George, because it's their birthday today (April 1st)! And what is more fun than the pair of them experimenting with pranks in their bedroom during the summer holidays? I remember a quote I read in one of the Potter books that said it was normal for small explosions to come from Fred and George's bedroom, as well as a distinct smell of gunpowder and God-knows-what else :) That was a good starting point for this illustration. I got to practice my background-drawing skills and play with the colours and details. Here, Fred and George are about thirteen/fourteen years old, taking their first steps towards starting Weasleys Wizard Wheezes. I am very pleased with the result! I hope you like it, too!
