It gives me so much joy every time someone who is not me uses the word "plumicorns." Especially when wildlife centers and such use it in educational material. It's such a cool word, and it helps people learn that plumicorns are not ears! I don't like calling them ear tufts. Just "tufts," maybe, or feather tufts, but they don't have anything to do with ears! They're plumicorns!! #plumicornawareness2017
