headcanons on Kevin’s home-life GO
Kevin likes animals. And man, he's always wanted one too. Especially when they moved into their nice new home in Peach Creek. Sadly, Kevin couldn't get a pet due to they being smelling, tearing the furniture up, leaving dirt, shedding, etc. His only other option was a fish. And when his mom finally said yes, and took him to the pet shop that day, that fish became his best friend.
Kevin's parents are very busy, but so seem to be every other parent in the cul-de-sac as well.
Just like his fish, his bike has a big impact on his life too. Dad bought him the bike when he started showing interest in them. Plus, he had a tricycle when he was young. So, why not continue it? And when he got old, he was riding a scooter. Some days, he doesn't get to see his parents, and along with being a only child, I guess he started to feel lonely inside. His bike filled that void, along with his fish.
Whenever his dad is home and available, he's watching tv. It's hard to take him from the screen. Usually, he watches old time movies, sports or game shows.
The most that Kevin knows how to cook is thanks to him mom for teaching him. He's very caring, with a soft heart.
It may not seem like it, but Kevin is very polite. All taught by his mom. In a lot of episodes, mostly including his best friend, he opens the door and waits for them to be inside safely before he goes in. It's showing you that he respects you.
Being a rebellious kid, he'd often look at things he shouldn't with his eye sight and after a while, he actually ruined them. The first day he got them, he thought they were stupid and dorky, and being new to a neighborhood as small as this one, you'd have to make a good first impression. So, he ditched his glasses all in all. He squints sometimes to see better, and after his parents found out, they got him some contacts.
Sometimes in the summers when he was new to the cul-de-sac, he's a shy kid so making friends was going to take time till he felt comfortable, but he'd have a small pool in his backyard and dump his fish in to swim with his fish. Oddly enough, he wanted to be an oceanologist once.
At home, when he's grounded, his parents know how much he eats cookies so, to tease him a bunch, they sometimes call him cookie. (This is probably not canon at all but I thought it'd be cute.)
Once Kevin learned more how to 'be a man' and act, he started closing himself off in a way. He built a wall; a strong front. He wanted to be cool. He wanted their attention, since his parents usually weren't around so much, he was used to being home alone. Most of his traits he probably gained from his dad; earning his mom's looks and his dad's chin, and personality.
I have more but I can't think these are all probably lame sorry.
