I like how delicate and soft Double D is when trying to imitate Eddy's "you have something on your shirt" prank. I don't know, I just love the concern with keeping the characters acting as they would. It's the same prank, but done in different ways.

While Eddy is all intense and rough acting out of enthusiasm, haste and mischief, Double D is cautious and concerned about not causing any harm and just play a silly innocent prank to cheer up his (boy)friend (and also because he has a generally gentle nature, so being rough doesn't come naturally for him), going slowly and gently. Eddy almost rips out Double D's nose while Eddy's nose only gives a little shake.

I love this contrast being so visible when we compare both scenes. And the sound effects are perfect as always.

I also like to point out that Double D's honesty is also highlighted in this scene. It wasn't just a prank to make a fool of Eddy. Double D played the prank honestly because Eddy actually had something on his shirt (his tears). I find it very interesting how Double D is always trying to do things honestly and how even in this scene this trait is in evidence. It's little details like this that I love that are so thought out.

I actually really do like them. I can see why everyone else does too. I like the besties to lovers trope, not as much as enemies to lovers but they’re still cute. And, come on, who kisses their bestie THAT passionately without any underlying feelings? 10/10 besties fr.

Okay okay okay- I hear you. The Kankers are very controversial characters. I understand. I just have a soft spot for May because she’s my favorite Kanker sister. She seems like the sweetest sister with the biggest heart and she really does like Ed, even if she isn’t the best at showing it. 10/10 wholesome.

I literally don’t see enough of these two when it comes to shipping. Like I said with EddEddy, I like the besties to lovers trope and Rolf and Kevin have the credentials for said trope. Tell me Rolf didn’t have some feelings for Kevin at some point. 10/10 cuties fr.
