It wasn't supposed to be like this, Ginny didn't get hit on by strangers, and then let them walk into her life and then to not walk away from from something abusive... it wasn't her at all.
Maybe she'd been craving something she hadn't known she needed until he came along, but she still wasn't sure why she was sitting there, not just sitting there, but forgiving him. This wasn't her. That's all she could think in her mind as she got over the shock of it.
"It's okay, Fred and George left some bruise cream around." It was really her only answer, accepting his apology outloud meant she'd have to face that he was bad for her.
Or maybe she was just too scared to walk away. That was how they said abusive relationships started, right?
