the wording of this tickles me. my opinion is positive. i like those lads, separately and in the context of each other. fun to watch fun to root for. fun to think about.

my favorite moment???? an impossible question! but i do think it is very difficult to beat trevor's post-trade instastory, for me. it is a very concise distillation of trevor's enduring affection for jamie. trevor knew that there was a narrative surrounding them as a duo, and he knew that jamie would never so publicly celebrate their reunion, and he knew that jamie was also not the only player he has a very strong history with (yorkie). and still, he could have simply chosen a pic from getty images of them celliying together as hockeys are wont to do, but no. trevor scrolled back in his camera roll and posted an unseen picture of the two of them out in the world together, away from the rink, with no caption as his first public reaction to the trade that ended what he thought would be a lifelong career in anaheim
